Mentors
The Peer Mentoring Program was developed through the GSS as a way for older graduate students to help newer students transition to graduate student life at Washington University. The current E&PS Peer Montors are Nancy Akerman, Cynthia Fadem, Kim Lichtenberg, Sandra Wiseman, Garrett Euler, Manavi Jadhav, Erica Emry, and Liz Hasenmueller.
Being peer mentors means that we take special care to be up-to-date on policies and practices that affect grad students, have met and discussed grad student needs with members of the administration, and have done a lot of thinking on our own about what grad students need/want most out of their academic institution. We're here to help, so feel free to come to any of us with your concerns.
